Several things:
-I’m up to 3.5 miles on the track. All together I run a little over 4 miles (with the run there, and then I run bleachers afterwards). My goal is 5 miles on the track. I’m sure I could so it on stubborn will alone, but I want to work up [...]

Last night I had a dream that Tony Robbins came over and cleaned my room.
He was all crazy motivational (as you would imagine) and went in there and started going through all of this crap while mumbling to himself about success and dusty corners.
When I started thinking about it, I remembered a similar dream from [...]

He’s the halcyon harbinger of halving-hunger, the perennial proprietor of pepperoni, the wheelie-popping slinger of the thin crust 2-for-1 deal–He’s JoJo the Pizza Guy.
And just who is the man behind the man?
Who, pray tell, is this gregarious granter of garlic bread? This 110cc warrior?
Well, that my friends is for me to know and you to [...]

I’m totally stealing Kristie’s “Real Conversation” method to explain what happened yesterday.
(At the mechanic after yet another scooter problem)
Jen (Chinese): What’s that called?
Mechanic #1(Chinese): A battery.
Jen (Chinese): Is there a big problem with it?
Mechanic #2 (English): Yes. It’s f***ed up.
As you may or may not know, I’m on a first [...]

So here we go.
My birthday is this weekend. I’m going to be 24.
That’s fine. That’s good. I’ve been 23 for a long time it seems like.
BUT.
I totally found three gray hairs.
In my head.
GRAY hair.
In my early twenties. What the eff, man?
I know my dad went gray when he was, like, 17. [...]

Hey Guys! So…I feel like I’ve kind of been neglecting my poor blog for the last couple of weeks. My apologies–I’ve mostly been doing the same kind of thing.
The island took Friday off to Celebrate 10/10, which is Taiwan’s National Day. As a result, everywhere was crowded and families took over downtown [...]

Just to make an announcement–My brother and Angel are engaged! Aw.
(though I’m sure you already know and weren’t the LAST person to find out…ahem).
Knowing my brother, this news is quite surprising! It’s great news and I’m very happy for them. I’ve also never met Angel, so I look forward to meeting my future sister-in-law!
Feel so small, they could step on you

So.
The last week or two has gone on much like the ones that preceded it–too fast, too full, and just a little too much fun. Highlights of the last week include getting followed by a creepy betel nut guy all the way across town, making baba ghanoush, soup, and sour cream & onion dip, [...]
