Ahhh. I’ve been in California for the last few days, soaking up every bit of summer weather and having some crazy/fun experiences. These include:
-Taking a private walking tour of Fox Studios and exploring the sets of Bones and Prison Break
- Exploring the natural desert beauty of Joshua Tree National Park
- Eating a picnic lunch under the shade of a giant boulder
- Having a makeover and four-hour photo shoot done by a severely professional photographer in a gorgeous studio
- Getting a free, spur of the moment haircut from an awesome stylist.
- Golfing on a beautiful course with ample flora and mountain views
- Re-discovering that I kind of like golf
- Hanging out by the pool with a beverage and some good people
- Visiting family
-In-n-Out
- BBQ-ing pool side and finishing off the vacation booze
Ah, vacation. This has truly been an awesome time. Sadly, it is coming to an end! Just a few more days of desert warm and then back to Michigan gloom and work.
But then again, I still have a few days left here–and I intend to enjoy them!
